The inspection on the first barge took us down memory lane to the last inspection we carried out in the pre-covid era, before we all went in to hibernation for a few months.
However, the scope of that inspection was to carry out a joint damage survey of the barge. The barge was damaged when one of the crane jibs came crashing down onto the ship's deck, while its grab landed on the barge.
Credit though should be given to the ship's crew. In order to discharge the cargo, they worked tirelessly to transfer the jib from another crane on to the damaged crane.
